Will The Gray Man come to DVD and Blu-ray?
The Gray Man is currently in theaters and available to stream on Netflix. Will you be able to own the movie on DVD and Blu-ray in the future?
If you’re looking for another spy movie, The Gray Man is going to be something to check out. Ryan Gosling stars as Six, a man who is off the grid and does as he’s told until he realizes that there’s a much bigger conspiracy within the CIA. He ends up with his life on the line, but he’s more concerned about the life of a child with a heart defect.
The movie is currently in theaters. You can also stream it on Netflix. What if you want to own it at home? There are still benefits to getting movies on DVD and Blu-ray. Is that going to be possible with this spy thriller?
The Gray Man may come to DVD and Blu-ray
It’s very hard to say what’s going to happen with this Russo brothers movie. As a Netflix release, it shouldn’t get a DVD release. However, it had a theatrical release, which could change that.
It doesn’t make a lot of sense for Netflix to release its movies on DVD and Blu-ray. This takes people away from the streaming platform, and we know Netflix is dealing with a loss of subscribers already. However, it’s going to depend on the contracts between production studios and the streamer.
With the theatrical release, we could see the movie come to DVD and Blu-ray. This is something we saw with the likes of Roma, The Irishman, and The Marriage Story. Could we see the same thing happen with The Gray Man?
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on what’s going on here. While we may get a DVD release date, we probably won’t get to see a Digital release.
