There are a lot of questions after the ending to The Boys Season 3. We’re ready for The Boys Season 4, but it’s not going to premiere next month.

There is some bad news when it comes to returning to the world of The Boys. That’s not going to happen this summer. Of course, it’s not something we expected considering the third season only ended back in July!

That doesn’t stop us from looking out for any sign of The Boys Season 4. We’re looking out for when production starts, which helps us figure out when we could see the series premiere on Prime Video.

When will The Boys Season 4 come to Prime Video?

We’re not expecting The Boys Season 4 in 2022 at all. There just isn’t enough time to get through production and editing to bring the full season this year. We’re looking at sometime in 2023 at the earliest.

It usually takes about 14 to 18 months between seasons on Prime Video. With that in mind, we’re looking at around September 2023 at the earliest for the superhero series. This allows for the production and full editing of the series. A series like this will take about eight months of post-production to get the graphics just right.

We shouldn’t see the delays that we saw during the pandemic years. Filming is almost back to normal, and any pandemic protocols in place are now pretty standard for the TV shows. This is helping to get the filming process back to the original time frames, which was the big reason for the delays in 2020 and 2021.

As for the storylines, we’re excited to see what’s to come for The Boys and The Seven. There are a lot of changes for both of them, including The Seven looking for some new members and the world dealing with an openly psychotic Homelander. What could this mean for the universe?
