Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in August 2022

We had hoped that Carnival Row Season 2 would come to Prime Video sometime in August. The list is out, and this show isn’t on there.

We would love nothing more than to say Carnival Row Season 2 is finally coming to Prime Video. Honestly, we thought that August was a doable month considering production wrapped last fall. Sadly, that’s not the case.

The list of new releases on Prime Video in August is out, and the fantasy series is nowhere on the list. We’re hoping to get some news very soon about it. This is harder than waiting for The Man in the High Castle Season 3!

When will Carnival Row Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We just don’t have an answer to this question at the time of writing. Prime Video is being extremely quiet about the series so far. However, there has to be noise very soon.

Considering how long it’s been since the first season, Amazon is going to have to make a lot of noise about the second season. It’s going to have to treat this like the first season of a new series, promoting it heavily to make sure fans know when it is coming back.

All we have right now is Deadline‘s statement back in January that the series is coming sometime this year. We had hoped it would be the summer, but right now, it’s looking more like the fall. We just can’t wait much longer!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon opted for a weekly release for the series. This would get people tuning in at some point while there are still new episodes to air to give the series a chance. I don’t think a binge-watch release is going to help the show score a third season with how long the wait has been.
