July ends strong with the list of DVD releases. There are some big movies from this year, as well as TV shows you’ll want to add to your collection.

Of course, the biggest release is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s the second Doctor Strange movie and takes place after the events of WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In fact, it brings us the consequences of Doctor Strange’s spell in the Spider-Man movie.

The Lost City, 4400 Season 1, and more

For those looking for something a little lighthearted, one DVD release will have you covered. The Lost City is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. It stars Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock who end up on a hunt for a lost city. This is all thanks to one man believing a romance author has written about something real.

The 4400 fans will have had mixed opinions about the reboot. For those who enjoyed the first season, it’s almost time to own it at home. There is only going to be one season of the series as it was unceremoniously cancelled by The CW. However, at least you get to watch the episodes whenever you want.

Period drama fans will also have something to look forward to. The Gilded Age Season 1 is coming to DVD this week. The HBO Max series focuses on the wealthy Steins of New York City at the start of the 1870s. It’s time to see what life was like for the New York elite back in the day.
