Will there be a Season 2 of Good Omens?

The first season of Good Omens brought us a look at the apocalypse. Is there a story for a second season at Prime Video? Here’s what we know.

There’s no doubt that Good Omens was entertaining. David Tennant and Michael Sheen were everything in the series, but all the storylines working together were just right. Of course, we expected nothing less with Neil Gaiman in charge of the creation of the show.

Now eyes are on whether there will be more to the story. The series was based on a single book, and it was billed as a limited series. That doesn’t always mean anything, though, right? Like it stopped Big Little Liars bringing a second season.

Good Omens Season 2 is coming to Prime Video

There is some excellent news for those who want more from this universe. Good Omens was renewed for a second season. It took some time to land the renewal, but not because Prime Video wasn’t sure about it. Gaiman didn’t initially want to create a second season since the second story was unfinished before Sir Terry Pratchett’s death.

In the end, Gaiman did decide it was time to bring the story. We don’t have many details to work with, except that our favorite demon and angel will team up once more, and this time they have a mystery to solve.

Filming has already been completed on the series. The show is now in post-production, although it’s not entirely clear when it will arrive on Prime Video. Post-production for this series takes a long time, but we are hoping to see Good Omens Season 2 sometime before 2022.
