It’s time for a road trip to remember in a heartfelt movie about a father and daughter. Don’t Make Me Go is coming to Prime Video tonight.

Summer movies involve heartfelt stories and road trips. At least, that’s what it often feels like, and Don’t Make Me Go is bringing both of them together. There isn’t long left to wait to see the John Cho movie.

The movie arrives on Prime Video tonight. The official release time is midnight GMT, and it will drop on Friday, July 15. However, Don’t Make Me Go is a global release, and time zones tend to work in our favor. Look out for the movie to arrive on Prime Video around 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 14. Yes, that’s tonight!

What is Don’t Make Me Go about?

John Cho stars as Max Park. When he learns that he has a brain tumor that involves a risky surgery, he decides to take his daughter on a road trip to remember. He wants to get her to New Orleans where he can take her to his college reunion and give her a chance to meet her mom to create a relationship with her.

He does all this without telling her the real reason why they’re heading out. He wants to create a road trip to remember without her realizing that he’s terminally ill. Of course, she eventually finds out, and she needs to deal with the anger of him keeping that from her while also the fear of losing him.

There are some highly emotional moments. There are also some hilarious moments between the two as they have fun and while Wally Park learns to drive.
