The Boys Season 3 finale spoilers: is Kimiko dead?
During the previous episode, Kimiko took Compound-V to get her powers back. Did it cause other problems in The Boys Season 3 finale?
Caution: There are spoilers in this post from The Boys Season 3 finale.
When Kimiko found out Soldier Boy had fried all the V out of her system, she was initially happy. Then she realized that it wasn’t the V that she thought made her a “monster.” She also realized that she wanted to do good in the world, and she wanted her powers back to be able to do that. So, she asked Starlight to get her some V from Vought Tower.
Understandably, Starlight and Frenchie were against it all at first. That was mostly because they didn’t know what the V would do to Kimiko. The first time it gave her powers, but would whatever Soldier Boy did to the V affect the way her body would handle it the second time?
What happened to Kimiko in The Boys Season 3 finale?
During the previous episode, we saw that the V seemed to give Kimiko her powers back. She healed immediately and she had her strength back. However, there was the fear that it would lead to complications in The Boys Season 3 finale.
When everyone got into Vought Tower, Kimiko and Frenchie headed to the lab so Frenchie could make the toxin that would knock Soldier Boy out. Of course, Vought security turned up and tried to stop Frenchie. Kimiko fought against them, using her returned abilities to take each one of them down. It did lead to Frenchie getting shot in the leg accidentally, but that was nothing too serious. He was fine by the end.
It looks like the Compound-V did nothing bad to Kimiko during The Boys Season 3 finale. Of course, there is still time for something in Season 4, but there wasn’t even a hint of something bad in the final moments of the episode. The Boys have The Female back.
