Is Thor: Love and Thunder coming to Amazon?

Thor: Love and Thunder is currently out in theaters, but we know it will eventually head to a streaming platform. Will it stream on Prime Video?

We are certainly ready to see what’s next for Thor. Thor: Love and Thunder takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. We’ll get to see what the God of Thunder has decided to do next now that he’s dealing with his grief in a healthier way.

While it is currently out in theaters, you’ll want to know when you can watch it at home. After all, this is bound to be a Marvel movie you want to watch over and over again. The kids certainly will! So, you need to know which streaming platform the movie is heading to.

Thor: Love and Thunder is not coming to Prime Video

We start with some bad news. This isn’t a movie you’ll be able to watch on Prime Video for free with your Prime membership. It’s Marvel; we don’t see the Marvel movies immediately head to Prime.

There is only one streaming platform for this movie. It’s all about Disney+. There isn’t a set date for the release just yet. None of the Marvel movies have followed a set time frame for coming to the streamer, but we are expecting it within the next three months.

Thor: Love and Thunder will come to Amazon Video

There is a bit of good news, though. You’ll be able to watch the movie on Amazon Instant Video eventually. Thor: Love and Thunder is going to get a Digital release, and we’re currently predicting that to be by the end of August.

This will require a one-off payment. Once you pay for the movie, it will be added to your Amazon Library, where it will remain for as long as you have your Amazon account (Amazon, not Prime Video). You’ll be able to watch it as often as you like without a streaming platform.
