Is Elvis on Amazon?

Elvis is now available to watch in theaters. Where will the Elvis movie stream online afterward? Will it come to Amazon Prime Video?

You loved seeing how Freddie Mercury and Elton John rose to fame and dealt with their problems at the top. Now it’s time to see how Elvis Presley did it. Austin Butler takes on the iconic role, showcasing the King of Rock and Roll’s rise to fame in the 1950s.

This includes the difficult relationship the singer had with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker played by Tom Hanks. We’ll also see the relationship he had with Priscilla Presley, played by Olivia DeJonge.

Elvis movie is not coming to Prime Video

There is some bad news for those looking forward to watching it on Prime Video. This isn’t a movie heading to Prime Video for free with your Prime membership.

Instead, the movie is heading to HBO Max first. This movie is a Warner Bros. one, and all Warner Bros. movies in 2022 are heading to theaters for 45 days exclusively and will then be available to stream on HBO Max. This isn’t a streamer available via Amazon Channels.

There is a bit of good news, though. This is a movie that will eventually get a Digital release. That means you’ll be able to watch it on Amazon Instant Video.

You’ll need to pay for the movie. It is a one-off charge, and it will be added to your Amazon Library for the rest of the time being. It’s a great way to avoid the streamers as much as possible, and we’re looking at about the same time the movie will head to HBO Max as it heads to Digital. The DVD and Blu-ray release will take longer.
