What’s next for Kimiko in The Boys Season 3?

Kimiko was injured by Soldier Boy in The Boys Season 3. What happened to her in that fight, and what is next for the strongest member of the group?

Things are about to change considerably for The Boys. The vigilante group have lost one of their superpowers. Kimiko no longer has her abilities.

At the end of The Boys Season 3, Episode 4, Kimiko’s life was left in limbo. Of course, we didn’t worry too much at first. Kimiko can heal. We’ve seen her come back from the dead routinely. We’d even seen it happen in that episode when she was shot in the head. Yet, this time, it turns out there’s been a lot of damage.

Kimiko no longer has powers in The Boys

Soldier Boy isn’t the same as he used to be. During the episode, he shot out a blast that injured Kimiko considerably. Frenchie and the others rushed her to the hospital to get help. When she woke up, she was shocked to see that she wasn’t healing the way she usually did.

She asked for Frenchie to pass her something heavy. When she couldn’t lift it, she realized that she got the one thing she always wanted. She was no longer a Supe.

Soldier Boy has the ability to remove powers with his blast. Does he absorb those powers? That’s something for us to find out soon. All we know right now is that Kimiko is no longer a Supe.

What’s next for Kimiko in The Boys?

How long is this going to last? Kimiko is happy about losing her powers right now, but how long is that going to be for? Now she won’t be able to protect Frenchie or the others if things go wrong. She could end up feeling useless in the group, the way Hughie has shared that he feels.

Is it possible that Kimiko will want to get her abilities back? Frenchie is facing a threat of his own, which could be something Kimiko wants to protect him from. The good news is there is some Compound-V out there, even if it is temporary. Could Kimiko end up using the V that Butcher and Hughie are currently using? Would that get her own powers back?
