It’s not often more than one new book enters the list of most read Amazon books in a week. Two new additions arrived last week.

We don’t often see a lot of change on the list of most read Amazon books. That’s because there are some books that are so popular that people will read and reread them all the time. In fact, the top half of the list didn’t change all that much.

The Harry Potter books continue to dominate the top of the list. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens also held onto a Top 5 spot. The biggest change was Sparring Partners by John Grisham gaining nine places to get into the Top 10, which did knock a few books down.

2 new additions on the list of most read books

Match Game by Craig Alanson was the first of the two new additions on the list. It entered in 10th place, helping to knock Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling out of the Top 10 again.

The other new addition was at the very bottom of the list, but that doesn’t mean it will remain there. The Brighter the Light by Mary Ellen Taylor entered in 20th place.

There were some notable movers on the list, too, and not just the John Grisham novel. Jack Carr’s In the Blood lost six places, leaving the Top 15. Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon just holds onto a Top 15 spot, but this book is likely to drop out of it this week. It dropped two places to land in 15th place last week.

The Summer I Turned Pretty books aren’t on the list yet, but they could arrive this week. After all, there will be new readers after the release of the Amazon series.
