What is The Lake about?
The series follows Justin, who returns home after years abroad. His long-term relationship has broken down, and he wants to make up for the time he’s been away. That includes finding his biological daughter who he gave up for adoption when he was a teenager.
He wants to show this city-loving girl what life can be like. It’s time to take a trip to his family cabin, but it turns out that everything has changed. His late father left the cabin to his “perfect” step-sister, and suddenly nothing is as he remembers it.
The two stepsiblings will need to find a way to get along. Meanwhile, Justin’s daughter may just find that the city life isn’t everything. Just how much trouble is she going to get in?
