Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens claimed the top spot on the list of most sold Amazon books. This wasn’t a surprising move.

We certainly weren’t surprised to see a new book at the top of the list of most sold Amazon books. Where the Crawdads Sing held that top spot for a long time in 2020, and it’s back up there with the upcoming release of the movie based on the book.

With the new trailer out, of course people are turning to the source material. Now is the time to quickly read the book before seeing the movie to see how things have been adapted.

The entire Top 3 was a change, though. Book Lovers by Emily Henry and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugoby Taylor Jenkins Reid both gained two spots to land in second and third place.

Colleen Hoover books continue to perform well

Another notable mover is Verity by Colleen Hoover. It gained three spots to gain fourth place. Meanwhile, It Ends With Us by the same author moved up one spot to claim a spot in the Top 5.

Reminders of Him also by Colleen Hoover continues to perform well. It remained in ninth place, this week.

After reentering in the list last week, The Terminal List by Jack Carr did drop down a spot. That’s not surprising. The trailer for the series starring Chris Pratt came out last week. We’ll likely see the book move up the list as we get closer to the release date on July 1.

Instead, the new novel Don’t Let Me Fall by Kelsie Rae gained a spot in the Top 10. We also saw the reentry of Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell in 18th place.
