Fire Island is currently in theaters and is going to be on streaming very soon. Can you stream Fire Island on Prime Video?

Now out in theaters, Fire Island is the movie of the summer to check out. It follows a group of queer best friends who head to Fire Island Pines for a week of love and laughter. This is their annual trip, and usually, it’s something to look forward to. What happens to potentially make this their last summer in gay paradise?

You’ll be able to see in theaters now. Chances are you’ll want to watch it again at home. And you’ll want to know which streaming platform it’s on so you can share it with your friends. What are your options for this movie?

Fire Island is not coming to Prime Video

This is not a Prime Video release. At least, not right away. The movie could head to Prime Video at some point in the future.

Instead, the movie is heading to Hulu to stream first. This is unusual for a SearchLight Pictures movie. They weren’t originally heading to Hulu, but that may be changing with contract changes. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on future SearchLight Pictures movies to see if this is going to be the case moving forward.

The good news is there will still be a way to watch the movie on Amazon. You’ll want to turn to Amazon Instant Video, which is where you can buy content on Digital. This is a movie that will eventually be available to purchase on Digital, although the date for it is still to be determined.

The great news is you can purchase this and watch without any streaming subscription. Once you buy on Digital, you’ll have it in your Amazon Library for as long as Amazon lasts.
