When is Fire Island coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

If you’re looking for something new to watch in theaters, you’ll want to check out Fire Island. This movie is full of positive representation, and it’s certainly not been sugarcoated to bring us everything we’ve ever needed on our screens.

The movie follows a group of queer friends who head to Fire Island Pines for their annual vacation. It’s a chance to live their best life, but what happens when things start to go wrong? This vacation will see a few friendships tested.

Once you’ve seen it in theaters, you’ll want to own it at home. That means waiting for the DVD and Blu-ray release date.

When is Fire Island on DVD and Blu-ray?

So, how long will we need to wait for the movie to head to DVD and Blu-ray? This isn’t clear yet, but we can look at a few SearchLight Pictures releases to get an idea. For the sake of this post, we’re looking at The Night House and The French Dispatch.

Both of these movies took about two months from theatrical release to DVD release. We’re looking at something similar for this movie, although it is worth noting that we’re still waiting on DVD release dates for some SearchLight Pictures movies from 2020 and 2021.

With the two-month window, it means we’re looking at around Tuesday, Aug. 2 as a DVD release date for Fire Island.

The Digital release is likely to be a couple of weeks sooner than that. We’re looking at around Tuesday, July 26 for the movie to head to digital platforms, including Amazon Video.
