While broadcast networks have seen a big surge in unscripted programming, it’s not as popular on the streamers. There are a few shows that stand out, but people tend to focus on the scripted programming more.

Prime Video hasn’t had that much success with unscripted programming. Last year saw an attempt to bring The Pack, which focused on people and their four-legged best friends showing off how much of a team they are. It was cancelled after one season.

Prime Video has renewed Making the Cut for Season 3

Some great news came back in April 2022. After a long delay and silence, Prime Video announced that Making the Cut Season 3 would happen. We had feared the worse at this point considering the second season came to the streamer back in July 2021.

Heidi Klum shared some surprising news about the series. According to Deadline, she shared that the season would arrive in the summer. That means the show was quietly renewed and filming has already happened.

The show will follow the same format as previous seasons. A group of 10 designers will show off their skills and ideas in the hope of winning the prize. They want the chance to get Heidi Klum’s name behind their designs and the money for their own store. They’ll just need to convince the judges that they have what it takes to make it big in the fashion world.
