Is Stranger Things Season 4 coming to Amazon?

It’s been a long wait for Stranger Things Season 4. The first set of episodes drop at the end of this week, but will they be on Amazon?

There is no doubt that we’re ready for Stranger Things Season 4. The wait has been excrutiating. We’re not getting the full season, but we are getting a good amount of episodes on Friday. The second half of the season will follow soon, and then there will be the final season to come.

Of course, now there are eyes on where the episodes will be available to stream. Is there any chance we’ll get to watch the series on Prime Video? What about buying the series on Digital?

Stranger Things Season 4 is not coming to Prime Video

There is some bad news for those who want to watch the series on Prime Video. You won’t be able to. Stranger Things Season 4 is heading to a different streaming platform.

You’ll need to turn to Netflix for the series. All three previous seasons are already on Netflix, and that’s where all future episodes will head. The only way Prime Video is going to get the episodes is if something happens to either streaming platform and they need to join together.

Will Stranger Things Season 4 come to Digital?

What about watching the series on Amazon Instant Video? This would offer you the opportunity to buy the episodes and watch them as much as you like. Will Stranger Things Season 4 get this treatment?

That’s not likely to happen. The previous three seasons aren’t available to buy on Digital, so we’re not expecting the fourth season to arrive here, either.

It’s not surprising that the Digital releases haven’t happened. It doesn’t make sense for Netflix to make it easy for people to watch original content without using the subscription, and that’s what the Digital release would do.

Stranger Things Season 4 premieres on Netflix on Friday, May 27.
