Emergency is an award-winning (winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award, U.S dramatic) satirical horror coming to select theatres on May 20, 2022, and Prime Video on May 27, about a group of young, BIPOC College students, who are about to have the strangest night of their lives.

Welcome to the Underground, a night of wild parties, where Sean (RJ Cyler)  and his incredibly awkward and brainy best friend, Kunle (Donald Elise Watkins) are about to let loose on a legendary tour of epic proportions. When they return home they find a girl unconscious in their living room, and their roommate Carlos (Sebastian Chacon) upstairs gaming, panic sets in, how could they get this girl help without becoming a statistic.

What is Emergency about?

At the same time Maddie, (Sabrina Carpenter) is searching everywhere for her friend Emma. After searching through the entire party, asking everyone with no luck, she decides to check the location of her phone, that is where the night’s events truly begin.

As the young men are making their way to the hospital in a mom mobile they make a quick stop to ask for some advice, Sean, Kunle, and Carlos find out the young girl is actually a very drunk, very much underage high school student, Emma.

The three men are trying to come up with a new plan they are completely unaware they are being chased down by Maddie, who has been following Emma’s location on her bike. With every twist and turn of this thriller, you see a glimpse of a very scary reality for far too many young men and women. RJ Cyler and Sabrina bring life to the screen in this must-see movie of summer 2022.
