The weekend is here, and it’s time to relax with some great movies and shows on Prime Video. May 1 saw a great lineup of films released on Amazon Prime, with many old favorites included.

This week Outer Range, The Wilds, Reacher and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are still at the top of the Amazon Top 10 List. Don’t miss these amazing Amazon Original titles.

The Kids in the Hall Season 1 (2022)

The Kids are back! The original Canadian sketch comedy from the late 80s/early 90s is back and now on Amazon. The Kids in the Hall is a continuation of the original show and is the first Canadian Amazon Original series.

This series, like the original, is produced by Lorne Michaels and reunites all of the original cast members. Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson are back for an 8-episode run featuring a season of new characters and sketches.

This season will also see a slew of guest stars that includes Paul Bellini, Pete Davidson, Catherine O’Hara, Kenan Thompson, Brandon Ash-Mohammed, Will Forte, Catherine Reitman, Samantha Bee, Fred Armisen, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jay Baruchel, Eddie Izzard, Tracee Ellis Ross, Mark Hamill, and Colin Mochrie.

Wrath of Man (2021)

The action thriller Wrath of Man is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Jason Statham, the fourth collaboration for this duo.

Statham plays H, a newly hired Los Angeles cash truck driver who shocks his fellow coworkers when he wards off a heist of his truck’s contents. This leads to questions about his mysterious past and precision skills to fight off the would-be robbers.

The movie also stars Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Chris Reilly, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, DeObia Oparei, Eddie Marsan and Scott Eastwood.

The Marksman

The Marksman is an action thriller directed by Robert Lorenz that sees Liam Neeson portray Jim Hanson, a former Marine sniper and Vietnam Vet.

Jim, an alcoholic widower, lives on his ranch in an Arizona border town with his dog Jackson. His daughter works for the US Border Patrol, for which Jim reports any attempted illegal crossings. But on one occasion, he finds himself trying to aid a young boy’s escape from a drug cartel and get him safely to his family in Chicago.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

The movie Sonic the Hedgehog is based on the Sega video game and is the directorial debut of Jeff Fowler.

The movie follows Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz), who, just like his video game counterpart, is a hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds, when he teams up with a local sheriff, Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), as they work to stop a mad scientist Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey).

Most Dangerous Game (2020)

The suspense film Most Dangerous Game is inspired by the 1924 short story by Richard Connell.

Liam Hemsworth stars as Dodge Tynes, a man desperate to take care of his pregnant wife Val (Sarah Gadon) after discovering he has an inoperable brain tumor. He seeks help from a company that aids people with terminal illnesses and their finances. He agrees to participate in a deadly game only to find out that he is prey.
