When is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness coming to DVD and Blu-ray?
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now in theaters. Want to watch it at home? Here’s when it’s likely coming to DVD and Blu-ray.
There are a lot of great movies out in theaters right now. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is out in theaters right now, but you may not want to head there right now. After all, the cost of the movies is going up.
That doesn’t mean you don’t want to see the movie. This follows on from the aftermath of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw Doctor Strange created the breach of the multiverses when he used a spell he shouldn’t have.
To be able to watch at home, you need to get it on DVD and Blu-ray. Now the question is when that will happen.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness DVD and Blu-ray release date
We need to wait for the official DVD and Blu-ray release date. Since it’s only just come to theaters, we’re not going to get that just yet. We can look at other similar movies to see how long they took to go from the theaters to DVD.
While they were released during the pandemic, we’re going to use Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to get an idea of the Doctor Strange 2 DVD and Blu-ray release date. These two movies still have a similar DVD release schedule to normal.
Black Widow took about two months to come to DVD, while Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings took just short of three months. We’re probably looking at something similar to the latter for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so we’re looking at around the end of July or start of August. If we had to put a date, we’re saying either July 26 or Aug. 2.
The Digital release is likely to be a couple of weeks before the DVD release date. We’re also looking at around this time for it to come to Disney+.
