Harold and Kumar, Gone Girl, Black Swan, Hanna, and more

One of the more notable releases is Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. This is the movie that sees our favorite duo detained by U.S. agents and wrongly sent to the infamous Guantanamo Bay. They need to find a way to get out of their predicament, and it just so happens that they come across President George Bush.

If you want something a little more series, Gone Girl is one of the big releases of the day. David Fincher directed the movie based on the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. It follows the disappearance of Amy on her fifth wedding anniversary to Nick. The two paint a beautiful picture to the outside, but there are a lot of secrets within their marriage and Nick becomes the prime suspect in her disappearance.

You could also turn to Black Swan for a psychological thriller. Natalie Portman plays a ballerina who is willing to do whatever it takes to land the lead role in her company’s latest production. Just how far does she end up taking it?
