Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2022

We’d love to see what’s next for Jack Reacher. We know Reacher Season 2 is happening, but the wait for it on Prime Video continues.

The first season of Reacher proved to be a huge success. Getting the renewal news just days into the release of the first episodes was not surprising. Now we’re on the lookout for when the new season will arrive.

This is where we bring some bad news. Reacher Season 2 was not on the list of new arrivals on Prime Video in May 2022. That’s not too surprising considering the first season only dropped a few months ago. We’re not expecting it any time soon.

When is Reacher Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

We will need to wait a while for the series. We’re not actually expecting the show to come any time in 2022. In fact, the earliest we’re expecting it is around April or May 2023.

That doesn’t stop us from looking out for some news. One of the things we’d love to know is whether any of the characters from the first season will pop up again. In the books, the stories are standalone and the past characters don’t tend to come up. Would the TV show follow the same format?

Showrunner Nick Santora won’t say, but that’s not to avoid teases. It’s actually because he genuinely doesn’t know yet. Jack is a lone wolf. He likes to live that way, and in the books, he doesn’t really reach out for help from those he’s worked with in the past. However, in the world of TV, there could be other reasons to bring up a previous character. It does sound like the show wants to stick to the book format, though.

Santora hasn’t shared which book the second season will be based on yet. We’re keeping an eye out.
