Hunters Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2022
We would love nothing more than to have any sort of news about Hunters Season 2 right now. What is going on with the series?
There are a few Prime Video shows that we haven’t heard much about in recent months. Hunters is one of them. The last we heard was filming had been completed in North America and was moving across to Europe. Since then, it’s been radio silence.
One thing we do know is that the 1970s-set series is not heading to Prime Video in May 2022. We double-checked the list of releases just in case, but it’s nowhere to be seen. Of course, we didn’t expect it, but it would be nice to have a surprise addition for a series we’ve been waiting years for.
And yes, it’s years. It’s been two years since the first season dropped. It’s no wonder people are asking if Hunters is canceled.
When is Hunters Season 2 coming to Prime Video?
At this point, we can’t say when the season will arrive. We can’t even predict if it will be in 2022 or not. That’s how quiet everyone is being. Gizmo Story says it will be, but there’s been no confirmation from anyone involved in the series to guarantee that. We certainly hope that is the case.
IMDb does have the series listed with a 2022 release date. This is something that is updated by fans and nobody connected to the series, so it’s something we’re taking with a grain of salt for now. This doesn’t mean it is wrong, but we’re waiting for the official word.
What we do know is that Jennifer Jason Leigh is stepping into the show as a prominent Nazi hunter known as Chava. It sounds like she may end up taking the place of Al Pacino’s character, who ended up not being the man he said he was. We don’t yet know if Pacino will return or not, but if he does, it’s not going to be to lead the group if Logan Lerman’s Jonah has anything to do with it.
Stay tuned for the latest updates about Hunters Season 2 on Prime Video.
