Bosch: Legacy and more coming to Freevee in May 2022

IMDb TV has changed its name to Freevee, but it hasn’t changed its great content. Bosch: Legacy is just one of the new releases in May 2022.

If you missed the memo, IMDb TV has changed its name. The free Amazon streaming platform is now called Freevee. That name? It’s because it’s “Free TV.” It sort of makes sense, and this could be a hint that the streamer is going to try to go global.

The change of name doesn’t change the content arriving. May 2022 is packed with some great shows and movies, including the new Freevee Original Bosch: Legacy.

The series will drop the first of its episodes on Friday, May 6. After that, there will be two episodes a week. There are 10 episodes in total, and you don’t need a Prime Video subscription to watch the series. However, the series does follow on from the Prime Original Series Bosch so you might want to at least catch the final season of that. The good news is all seven seasons of Bosch are also on the free streaming platform right now.

Lizzo, Troppo, and more

Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls has only just arrived on Prime Video. If you didn’t watch it because of needing a Prime subscription, you’ll be happy to hear that you can watch all episodes for free right now.

Troppo is another Freevee Original to look out for. The series follows Ted Conkaffey, an ex-cop falsely accused of a disturbing crime. He heads to the tropics of Far North Queensland in an attempt of freedom, but he soon finds himself pulled into another wild murder. The series is based on the novel Crimson Lake by Candice Fox.

Of course, this streaming platform is great for those who need movies to put on now and again. Now You See Me and Gone Girl are two of the biggest releases of the month, but there are a lot of great releases to watch from the start of the month.
