Most sold Amazon books last week: New Cat Kid enters the list

When a new Cat Kid book comes out, are we surprised that it joins the list of most sold Amazon books in a week? Of course not!

With the success of Captain Underpants and Dog Man, it’s never a surprise to see one of Dav Pilkey’s other graphic novel series on the list of most sold Amazon books. It’s all about Cat Kid this week

The new graphic novel is out, and of course, children flocked to the book stores to get it. Well, okay, maybe some of us parents did it for the kids. The book entered in 11th place, but there is a good chance that it will move up the list as more parents and children realize that it’s out.

New John Sandford enters, Margaret Atwood down

The Top 5 changed once more. After holding onto the top spot for a couple of week, My Evil Mother by Margaret Atwood dropped seven places last week. It landed in eighth place, opening the way for new books to enter above.

John Sandford’s The Investigator entered the list in third place. Meanwhile, Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny by Marilyn Sadler gained a spot each. The three books make up the Top 3.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Verity by Colleen Hoover gained two spots each, making up the rest of the Top 5.

The Bridgerton books continued to fall down the list, while a few new additions made their way into the bottom half. Matt Haig’s new book How to Stop Time was the bottom new addition, but we’re sure to see that climb throughout the coming weeks.
