Every parent is heading to the movie theaters this weekend. It’s all about The Bad Guys, based on the graphic novel series of the same name. This is a fun series, and there’s no doubt that the animated movie is going to be something the kids want to watch over and over again.
That means getting it at home. While it will be available on DVD and Blu-ray eventually, you’ll also want to know which streaming platform it’s going to be on. Will The Bad Guys come to Amazon?
The Bad Guys will not come to Prime Video right away
There is some bad news about the movie. It’s not going to head to Prime Video to watch for free with your Prime membership right away.
This is a Universal Pictures movie, and we know these movies head to HBO and HBO Max after the theatrical releases. It usually takes about six months for this to happen.
That doesn’t mean the movie will never come to Prime Video. It will just take some time, and we’re looking at a few years at least.
The Bad Guys will come to Amazon Video
The good news is there will be a way to watch the movie on Amazon. It’s all about Amazon Instant Video. We’ll be able to buy the movie on Digital.
It’s not exactly clear when this will happen. To be honest, it’s hard to even make a prediction. Universal Pictures hasn’t been consistent with the way it’s released movies on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital in recent years.
