We are certainly ready for new Amazon shows. One of those arrives tonight. Outer Range will premiere its first two episodes tonight at midnight GMT.
There is some great news for those in North America. This is a global original, which means there’s a good chance that we’ll get the episode at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT tonight, Thursday, April 14. While there is no guarantee of this, we’ve seen the early releases more often than not on Prime Video in recent years.
What is Outer Range about?
Outer Range starts with Royal Abbott thinking that his biggest problem is going to be his greedy neighbors trying to take his ranch. He’s doing everything he can to protect his land, which is something he wants to pass on to his family when he passes on.
However, things take a turn for the weird when a mysterious black void turns up in the western part of his land. Royal has no idea what this void is. Nobody does. The series focuses on how we face the unknown and the things the unknown brings.
What is this mysterious void? How did it appear, and what are the secrets from the past that will come out because of it?
The first two episodes will arrive tonight. Outer Range is an eight-episode series, and there will be two episodes released every week. This isn’t surprising with the way Amazon has released some of its biggest shows recently. The format is the same release as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4.
