When is Morbius coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s finally time to see Jared Leto transform once more. Morbius has made it to the theaters, but when will it make it to DVD and Blu-ray?

Originally planned for a January release, Morbius is finally out in theaters. Sony Pictures made the decision to push the release due to the Omicron variant at the start of the year, and while it was disappointing, we’re so excited to see the movie finally hit theaters.

Of course, not everyone heads out to theaters. There are all sorts of reasons to avoid them, mainly being the costs if you have a large family going. So, you want to know how long you’ll need to wait for it to come to DVD.

Even if you have gone to theaters, you’ll want to own it on DVD and Blu-ray. How long will you need to wait for that? We don’t have a definite date just yet, but we have some good ideas to run with.

Morbius DVD and Blu-ray release date predictions

We can look at other Sony Pictures movies to get an idea about the release date. Why not stick to movies of a similar genre? We’re looking at Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home to make our predictions.

Venom took just short of three months to go from theaters to DVD. Spider-Man took longer, waiting four months to get the DVD treatment. We can probably expect Morbius to be around Venom’s standard or maybe something in between. Spider-Man was a huge release and performed extremely well in the theaters so the delay hasn’t been that surprising.

We’re looking at around June 14 as the earliest date the movie is likely to come to DVD and Blu-ray. We could have to wait until around June 28 or July 5. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on this.
