The Outlaws is the big Amazon release at the end of the week. We know when it will drop, but now it’s time to find out what the series is about.

If you’re looking for a horror-comedy, you’ll be happy to hear a new one is heading to Prime Video at the end of the week. Stephen Merchant’s The Outlaws is on its way. The series was originally titled The Offenders for those who are a little confused. It’s not clear why the title changed.

Before jumping into a new show, you’ll want to know what to expect from it. Is this going to be something for you? Will it be something you recommend to friends? Here’s a look at all you need to know about The Outlaws synopsis.

What is The Outlaws about?

At first glance, the series has a bit of a feel of Misfits. It focuses on seven strangers who all have just one thing in common: they’re performing community service for the illegal things they’ve done. They’re not going to be hit by strange lightning and gain superpowers, though.

The community service involves the group cleaning up a derelict building in Bristol. They need to make it ready for the building to be used again. While cleaning up the building, they find a bag of money. This takes them into a world of danger when it turns out there are people looking for this bag of money.

Now the group will need to protect their lives from the group looking for the money. At the same time, they’ll need to stay out of trouble if they want to avoid further punishments while they carry out their community service. And the seven don’t know each other so it’s not like they can necessarily trust each other right away.
