Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in April 2022

All eyes are on when we’ll get to see the next part of Philo and Vignette’s journey. The wait for Carnival Row Season 2 continues.

The bad news is we’re not getting to see the new season of Carnival Row Season 2 next month. It’s nowhere on the list of April 2022 releases on Prime Video.

If we’re honest, we’re not surprised about that. We would have loved to see a miracle, but there’s been no promotion for this series as of late. We’d have had a date and promo before heading into the new month if it was going to arrive.

Carnival Row Season 2 release date predictions

As mentioned, there’s been no promotion for the series. Prime Video has been extremely quiet, which suggests that the season isn’t going to arrive any time soon. It also makes it hard to tell where in the production process the series is.

There are a few rumors circulating that the series will arrive in August 2022. This isn’t confirmed by Prime Video, but the month would certainly make sense. It would mark three years since the release of the first season.

That’s a long wait for the show. If Outlander fans thought their Droughtlander was hard, they should be fans of Carnival Row! Of course, the wait hasn’t been the fault of the series. It was in the middle of filming when the world shut down in March 2020. Then Orlando Bloom taking time off when his child was born meant that there were a few other delays.

However, filming is reportedly complete. With it being in the post-production stage, it certainly makes August possible. So far, Prime Video hasn’t announced big shows for this month of the year, so Carnival Row could take that spot.
