A new week sees the ninth Outlander book drop further down the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the full list of 20 books.

The ninth Outlander book, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon, held the top spot for a long time. Over the last couple of weeks, it has slowly moved down the list, and it is now out of the Top 3. The Harry Potter books have taken over the top spots on the list.

It does remain in fourth place, though. There is a chance that it could remain there for a while, but we may start seeing other books take over. It all depends on whether readers want to read the novel again while they wait for the 10th and final book in the main series.

One new book, one reentry on the list

There was only one new book make it to the list of most read Amazon books. The War of Two Queens by Jennifer L. Armentrout made it into eighth place last week. This isn’t surprising considering Armentrout’s fan following, but will the book move up or down this week?

There was also one reentry on the list. The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien reentered at the bottom of the list. This happens now and then as there is a push for fans to reread the books once more. It did mean the fourth The Wheel of Time book was knocked off the list after holding on for a few weeks.

With Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power coming in September, the reentry isn’t all that surprising. While the series is a prequel, there is some of the story mentioned in the trilogy, so fans will want to get ready.
