While things are quiet on Prime Video this week, there’s one big release to look forward to. Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls comes out this week.

One of the things we know is that larger women are consistently overlooked in the entertainment industry. It doesn’t matter how talented they are. There is this focus on thinner women, and it is a problem.

Lizzo knows that it’s a problem. That’s why she did something different when it came to looking for her backup dancers. She wanted to find women who were talented, regardless of their size. In fact, the bigger the better to make sure there was representation on stage.

That’s what Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is all about. The first season follows her going through the audition process to get to the point of performance.

Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls release time on Prime Video

What time can you start watching the episodes? All eight episodes will drop at once, and you’ll want to binge them right away.

This is a global original, which is an important factor in the release time. The episodes will drop at midnight GMT on Friday, March 25. This is great news for those looking to watch in North America.

We usually get the episodes much earlier. There is a good chance that we’ll get to start watching on Thursday, March 24. The release time will be around 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The British clocks still haven’t gone forward yet, so the time difference is still an hour shorter than normal. The clocks go forward on Sunday, March 27 so from next week, we’ll see the usual five- to eight-hour time difference.

The official release date isn’t until Friday, March 25, though. If the release doesn’t happen a little earlier, check in at midnight local.
