Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in March 2022

We know that Reacher Season 2 is happening. All eyes are on when it will arrive. All we know is it’s not on Prime Video in March 2022.

After just three days of debuting on Prime Video, Reacher was renewed for a second season. That’s how popular the show was immediately, and there’s no doubt that all eyes are on when the new season will arrive.

One thing we know right now is that the season won’t arrive in March 2022. It was nowhere on the list of Prime Video releases this month, but that wasn’t all too surprising. After all, the second season was only just confirmed in February!

Reacher Season 2 release date predictions

There isn’t a confirmed release date just yet. Prime Video may have a rough idea in mind, but there isn’t going to be a confirmed date just yet. That’s mostly due to filming not even underway on the new season.

The pre-production work, including the writing, is only just going to be happening right now. That’s if the writers have even gathered yet. There’s going to be a discussion over which book to follow next and how to transform that book into a season of TV. It looks like the show is going to follow one book to a season.

It usually takes about 14 to 18 months between seasons depending on the style of show. Something like Reacher would usually take closer to the 14-month mark instead of the 18-month mark. There are just not as many graphics involved as shows like The Boys and Upload. We could see something as early as April 2023, but it is going to depend on when filming can get started.
