We’re certainly ready for The Boys Season 3. While we wait, we got an animated spin-off. Each episode brought a slightly different style of animation, and every story was self-contained. The only downside is that the episodes were so short.

Now that we’ve had a chance to binge-watch all eight episodes, we just have one question. Will The Boys Presents: Diabolical Season 2 happen at Prime Video? Will we get more of these episodes?

The Boys Presents: Diabolical Season 2 could happen at Prime Video

As of right now, The Boys Presents: Diabolical hasn’t been renewed for a second season. This isn’t a bad sign, though. This was certainly an interesting experiment to see how popular The Boys universe is to bring us more animated content.

There is a good chance that we’ll see a second season. The reviews from fans of the main series have been mostly positive, and it was certainly a great way to bring us some sort of content during the break to keep us happy.

This could certainly be a great way to deal with the lengthy breaks between the seasons. There’s no need for the actors and crew to take a lot of time off filming the main show considering it is an animated series. There will be some voice roles needed, but schedules can work around main filming needs. The creators of the individual episodes could even choose not to include some of the main characters, introducing other characters instead.

This is something that could be quietly renewed. It allows The Boys to keep bringing us surprises like it did with the series in the first place.
