Is The Batman coming to Amazon?
The Batman starring Robert Pattinson is now in theaters. Want to watch it at home? Will the DC movie stream on Amazon Prime Video?
If you were apprehensive about Pattinson taking on the iconic role, you’ll be happy to hear that the reviews have been positive. The Twilight actor shows off his real skills in the iconic role, and now it’s time to head out to theaters to watch.
Not everyone wants to watch in theaters right now, though. For some, it’s the pandemic. For others, it’s simply the cost of movie tickets right now. Whatever your reason, you’re looking at ways to watch The Batman at home.
The Batman will not come to Prime Video right away
There is some bad news for Prime members. The Batman is not going to head to Prime Video. This is a Warner Bros. movie, and that means it’s likely to head to HBO and HBO Max initially. This usually takes about six months from the theatrical release.
During 2021, we did see the Warner Bros. movies head to HBO Max for 30–31 days when they hit theaters. That’s not the case with the 2022 movies. Everyone will need to wait until it’s time for the movie to head to streaming permanently.
This doesn’t mean the movie will always remain on HBO Max. There is a chance that it will head to Prime Video at some point in the future, but it’s not going to be any time soon.
The Batman on Amazon Video
There is some good news, though. The Batman will get a Digital release, and that means it’s going to head to Amazon Video. This is where you can buy the episodes for a one-off cost.
There isn’t a release date just yet. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on that so you can buy it as soon as it’s available.
The Batman is available in theaters right now.
