When is The Desperate Hour coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

Naomi Watts is in this weekend’s must-watch movie in theaters. When will you be able to watch The Desperate Hour on DVD and Blu-ray?

What would you do if your child was trapped inside a building with a teenager with a gun? What would you do if you were five miles from home with no access to a car? That’s something Naomi Watts’s character, Amy, needs to figure out.

She goes on a run, trying to handle the grief of her late husband. However, while out, she gets an emergency alert. There’s a hostage situation, and she later finds out that her son is one of the hostages.

Now she needs to do everything she can to keep her son safe while being miles away from him. The Desperate Hour is certainly going to take us on a thrilling ride.

The Desperate Hour DVD release date predictions

We don’t have a release date for the movie just yet. It has only just made it to theaters, although it’s worth noting that it’s already available on demand. That means you can get it on Digital via Amazon Video.

But what about the DVD and Blu-ray release? We need to look at other Roadside Attractions movies to get an idea as to how long we’ll need to wait. For this, we’re going to look at The Courier and Pinocchio.

Both movies took about two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD and Blu-ray. We could see The Desperate Hour on DVD and Blu-ray as early as May 3 or May 10, 2022.

Is it going to be worth the wait? Critics aren’t all that positive about the movie, giving it a 34% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience rating wasn’t available at the time of writing this.
