The Cursed is currently out in theaters on a limited release. How long will it take for it to come to DVD and Blu-ray? We look at the possibilities.
If you’re in the mood for a werewolf movie, you’ll want to see if The Cursed is playing in a theater near you. It has received only a limited release, though.
The movie is set in 19th-century France. Pathologist John McBride turns up in town to investigate a supernatural menace that threatens its existence. However, he is full of his own demons as well. Could that put everything and everyone at risk?
Body Holbrook stars as John McBride. He’s joined by Kelly Reilly, Alistair Petrie, Roxanne Duran, and Nigel Betts. It’s had some pretty decent reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, so is certainly going to be worth your time.
The Cursed DVD and Blu-ray release date predictions
There isn’t a set DVD release date just yet. It’s going to be on the more difficult side to predict this release as the production company is rather small. It was created by LD Entertainment, which is the production company behind Words on Bathroom Walls and The Grey.
It took about three months for Words on Bathroom Walls to go from theaters to DVD, and that was in the middle of the pandemic. It took even longer for The Grey—almost four months.
With this in mind, we’re looking at around three months as a time period, which would likely mean around the middle of May. It could be closer to the end of the month if it follows The Grey release.
What about the Digital release? This is also hard to predict. Words on Bathroom Walls came out on Digital a week before the DVD release. We can probably expect something similar here.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the plans for this movie. After all, with the limited release, it’s one that a lot of people are going to wait to watch at home.
