Spider-Man: No Way Home first streaming location confirmed
If you were hoping to see Spider-Man: No Way Home on Prime Video first, there is some disappointing news. The first streaming location is confirmed.
If we’re honest, we didn’t expect to see the third Spider-Man movie in the Homecoming trilogy come to Prime Video. Not as part of the Prime membership anyway. There will still be the option to buy the movie on Digital, but it won’t be free to stream.
However, it didn’t stop us from hoping for a miracle. BGR has confirmed where the movie will stream, though. It’s actually where we thought it would be.
Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to STARZ
At some point, the Tom Holland movie is heading to STARZ. The great news for Prime Video members is that you can get this channel through Prime Channels. There is a way to sort of watch it on Prime.
That being said, it’s not where a lot of people hoped it would be. I think most people predicted it would go to Disney+. However, Sony movies from 2021 and before headed to STARZ. It’s probably going to be around 2023 at the earliest for Disney+ to get the movie.
This is going to change in 2022. Netflix and Sony have made a deal and that’s where the theatrical releases will head.
When is Spider-Man: No Way Home on STARZ?
The exact date for Spider-Man: No Way Home isn’t known yet. Most Sony movies take about six to eight months to head to the streaming platform from the theatrical release date. That means we’re looking at the summer of 2022 at the earliest.
It can take up to a year for some movies. We’re hoping that’s not the case here.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is heading to STARZ first, which is available via Prime Channels.
