Encanto and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week

We head into a new week looking forward to the DVD and Blu-ray releases happening. Encanto is just one of the big releases on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Whether you’re telling people not to talk about Bruno or you’re pretending you’re under “No Pressure,” you’ll be excited to buy one DVD on the list for the whole family. Encanto is making its way to both DVD and Blu-ray this week. Sure, it’s on Disney+ but what if you don’t want to keep that subscription up? With the DVD or Blu-ray, there’s no reason to.

This isn’t the only big release of the week, though. Tuesday, Feb. 8 has 11 releases happening, and some are movies and shows we’ve been waiting for.

King Richard, Stargirl, Last Man Standing, and more

King Richard is going to be one of the DVD and Blu-ray releases that stands out. Will Smith stars as Richard Williams, father of the tennis stars Venus and Serena. This is a chance to look back at how he pushed them to be the athletes they are today.

If you’re more in the mood for romance, After We Fell is coming to DVD. This is the third movie in the After franchise, and follows Tessa as she realizes that her dreams are just as important as others around her.

More in the mood for fantasy? Stargirl Season 2 is something you’ll need to get. The full season plus bonus features are available on this disc set, and it’s available on both DVD and Blu-ray unlike many other TV shows right now.

One of those TV shows only getting a DVD release is Last Man Standing Season 9. It’s the final season of the Tim Allen series that sees him surrounded by women in his life.
