Book of Love age rating: Is the movie suitable for kids?
Book of Love is the rom-com arriving on Prime Video in February 2022. What is the Book of Love age rating? Is the movie suitable for kids?
If you’re looking for a rom-com for the most romantic month of the year, look no further than Prime Video at the end of this week. Book of Love stars Sam Claflin as a struggling author who gets a hit book thanks to the spicy Mexican translation of his book.
You’ll likely want to check it out as soon as possible. Does that mean you can watch it as soon as it drops, or will you need to wait for the kids to head to bed? This is what the Book of Love age rating is for.
Book of Love age rating
As of right now, there isn’t actually an age rating for the movie. This is somewhat surprising considering it’s dropping at the end of the week. I can’t even pull up the movie on Prime Video just yet to check in on the movie—usually, the title is up early with a trailer ready to add the movie on release date.
There are a few considerations to make to guestimate the Book of Love age rating. This is a movie with some strong language (think sh*t but not f*ck), and there is some nudity.
It’s a movie that is very much like other rom-coms, which means we’re looking at something that your younger kids aren’t even going to be interested in. This is something for the older teenagers as they get into the rom-com genre. It’s made for the older teenagers and adults in mind.
You’ll know your children the best. It’s worth considering the types of movies they like to determine if this is one for them.
Book of Love is heading to Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 4.
