More than 60 titles are coming to Amazon Prime Video today (February 1)

It’s the first of a new month, and that means there’s a big drop on Amazon Prime Video. There are 61 titles joining today, Feb. 1.

We’re heading into the most romantic month of the year. Of course, not everyone wants the romantic dramas or rom-coms. Some of us like action and horror this time of the year. The great news is that Amazon Prime Video has us covered for all of our needs.

There are 61 titles on Amazon Prime Video today. None of these are new Amazon Originals, but there’s a great selection of movies and TV shows depending on your needs.

We’ll take a look at some of the notable additions before sharing the full list of releases.

Bride Wars, Forrest Gump, and more

If you are in the mood for a rom-com, Bride Wars offers a fun twist. It focuses on two best friends who have the same dream wedding. Initially, their weddings are booked for separate days, but a mishap leads to them getting married on the exact same day, and neither of them is willing to wait for another date.

It leads to some hilarious moments as these friends turn enemies and try to sabotage each other’s wedding. What will lead to them seeing just how Bridezilla they’ve both become?

For those who want something that offers comedy, drama, and romance, it’s all about Forrest Gump. Tom Hanks plays the titular character, a boy who isn’t the same as everyone else. As he grows up, he figures out how to fit into a world that doesn’t view him as special. However, it turns out that he’s the most important person in multiple lives.

When action is more your thing, Platoon is going to be one to watch. This does have some devastating moments, though. Just get the tissues ready!
