Is Scream coming to Amazon Prime Video?
The fifth Scream movie is currently out in theaters. Maybe you want to watch it at home, but when and where will it stream?
Chances are you’re not really into heading to the movie theaters right now. In some parts of the country, the movie theaters may even be shut. You want to be able to watch movies from the comfort of your own home. This means looking at where they’re streaming.
Will Scream head to Amazon Prime Video? Will there be a way to watch it via Amazon in any way?
Scream is probably not coming to Amazon Prime Video
The bad news is that the movie is not likely to come to Prime Video. Paramount Pictures movies used to head to Amazon Prime Video about a year after the theatrical release, but that’s changed with a lot of movies recently. Instead of heading to Prime Video, they’ve gone to Paramount+.
In fact, they’ve headed to Paramount+ about 45 days after the theatrical release. We could see this horror movie head to the streamer within just a couple of months.
If it does head to Paramount+, you can at least watch it via Amazon Channels.
Scream will head to Amazon Video
There will be a way to watch it via Amazon. It’s going to be via Amazon Instant Video, which is the Digital platform.
You will need to buy the movie on Digital when it’s released. There’s no need to have a Prime Video membership, and you will only pay for the movie once and be able to watch it as often as you like. If you rent, you’ll only get it for one watch so you want to make sure you buy.
The movie is added to your Amazon Library. It remains there for as long as you have your Amazon account.
