Before you do just put on a movie, you will want to make sure. We all know what Sausage Party initially looked like and then what it turned out to be. So, you’ll want to double-check the Hotel Transylvania 4 age rating to make sure this is a safe movie to put on.
We’ve taken a look at the official age rating. We’re also looking at why the movie has been given that age rating, and what the parents think about it.
Hotel Transylvania 4 age rating
The good news is the movie is suitable for children. It has a PG age rating. That means it is suitable for children with parental guidance. This is now the most common rating given for children’s movies. It’s rare to see that U rating movies used to get for “Universal.”
What’s with the PG rating? It’s linked to some of the mild nudity that’s included. This is nothing different to what the original Hotel Transylvania movies included. If you like them, you’ll love this movie.
Some of the other movies have been given a 6+ or 7+ rating by parents. This is usually based on whether children can watch them in the theaters more than anything else. We don’t have to worry about that with the fourth one, as it’s coming to Prime Video exclusively for streaming only.
Hotel Transylvania 4 is heading to Amazon Prime Video tonight.
