The first week of January brought a lot of changes to the list of most sold Amazon books. Take a look at the ups, downs, and new entries.

There was plenty of change on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. We got to see some new additions but also saw books returning to the list.

There’s a new Top 3 this week, although all the books have been on the list before. Colleen Hoover got two of her books in the Top 3, after both moved up a healthy amount throughout the week.

In fact, Verity, which moved into second place, gained the most places last week. It went up 18 places, and that’s possibly because it has gained popularity on TikTok. It Ends With Us gained four places to get into the top spot. Third place was taken up by the first The Witcher book, which isn’t surprising with the second season arriving on Netflix in December.

The Wheel of Time and Outlander books fall

The biggest loss of the week was Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon. The ninth Outlander book lost eight places, dropping into 18th place on the list. It continues to hold the top spot on the list of most read Amazon books, so this is just likely that a lot of readers pre-ordered or they’ve opted for the signed copies from Poisoned Pen.

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan dropped four places but holds into a spot in the Top 10. This drop isn’t surprising with the first season of The Wheel of Time now ended on Amazon Prime Video. We may see it back on when the second season arrives.

He Who Fights with Monsters 4 by Shirtaloon & Travis Deverell and The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner were the only two new books on the list, but there were some great reentries.
