Harry Potter fans didn’t get another movie, but we did get a reunion special. That special arrived on New Year’s Day, marking the 20th anniversary of the franchise. It was chance to head down memory lane, looking back at the most memorable moments of the franchise.

We got to see the main cast of the movies gather together to talk about the franchise. There were a few missing faces throughout, but we got the most important people who brought our favorite characters to life.

The Harry Potter reunion is not on Amazon Prime Video

There is some bad news for the Potter-heads out there. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is not available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. It won’t be available for free with your Prime membership.

This special is only available on one streaming platform. You can watch it on HBO Max. This isn’t part of the Amazon Channels listings.

What about a Digital release? Is there a chance we’ll get the Harry Potter reunion on Digital? This isn’t clear right now.

HBO Max Originals haven’t come to DVD and Blu-ray or Digital just yet, and there have been a few. However, this is connected to a major franchise. We could see it head to at least physical disc to add to your collection. It probably won’t come to Digital, though. It doesn’t make sense to make it available for a one-off payment when it’s a streaming original.
