The wait for the Amazon release of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania on Amazon Prime Video is almost over. In 2021 Sony Pictures Animation announced that the latest installment of the Hotel Transylvania films would not be heading to theaters but would be streamed on Amazon Prime instead.

This film will mix things up in the world of monsters. Van Hesling has invented a “Monsterfication Ray” that will alter the lives of everyone in the film. Johnny will say goodbye to his human form and become a monster, while Drac and the rest transform from monsters into humans.

Johnny is happy to enjoy his new form, but the monsters are less than pleased with their human forms. They will all need to work together to reverse the effects before they become permanent.

Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kathryn Hahn, Jim Gaffigan, Molly Shannon, Keegan-Michael Key, and Fran Drescher will all return for their roles in the film. Brian Hull and Brad Abrell have replaced Adam Sandler and Kevin James.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania release time on Amazon Prime Video

The fourth film, which is also being billed as the final in the Hotel Transylvania franchise, will release on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 14 at 12:00 a.m. GMT. This release time isn’t too convenient depending on what time zone you live in, but luckily you can choose the time you will watch it.

Amazon will often release new features early at 7 p.m. ET the Thursday before the announced release date. But, never fret; if it doesn’t release early, you will see the movie available at the regularly scheduled time slot.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is sure to be a fun movie for the whole family, especially those who have loved the previous films. And, with this being the last movie, it is sure to be a great one.
