When is The Matrix Resurrections coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

The Matrix Resurrections is now available to watch in theaters. The question or many is when it will be out on DVD and Blu-ray to add to your collection.

You have all three other movies on DVD and Blu-ray, and now you want to add The Matrix 4 to your collection. After all, you need the complete set, right?

The movie has only just made it to theaters and on HBO Max. There’s no way a DVD release date has been set just yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look at a predicted date.

We need to look at other movies from Warner Bros. to figure this out. For the sake of this post, we’re looking at Mortal Kombat and Dune to see when The Matrix Resurrections could be released on DVD and Blu-ray.

The Matrix Resurrections DVD release date prediction

It’s taking just short of three months for the Warner Bros. movies to head from theaters to DVD and Blu-ray. We can expect something similar when it comes to The Matrix 4 on DVD and Blu-ray.

The official theatrical release date for the fourth Matrix movie is Dec. 22. We’re used to Friday releases with Thursdays being a preview day, but the movie needed to come out before Christmas to attract the crowds.

We’re probably looking at early March 2022 as a month for the DVD release. It could be around Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

What about The Matrix 4 on Digital?

The movie will head to Digital at some point. This is despite already being available to stream. The Warner Bros. movies have only gone to HBO Max to stream for 31 days at the same time as the theatrical releases. They then leave and head back to streaming at a later date.

The Digital releases have mostly been a month before the DVD releases. We’re looking at early February or even late January for this one.
