Antlers and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week (January 4)

We don’t just have the start of a new week, but the start of a new year. Antlers is among the list of the first DVD and Blu-ray releases in 2022.

January is looking to be a good month for DVD and Blu-ray releases. There are some exciting additions to come, including The Addams Family 2 and Cobra Kai Season 3. However, we need to wait a few weeks for these.

Tuesday, Jan. 4 is on the quieter side. With it being the first Tuesday of the year, that’s not surprising. People are still managing their finances after Christmas and the New Year.

There are five releases this week. We’ll take a look at some of the notable releases and then list everything you can buy this week.

Antlers, Black Friday, and more

Antlers is the biggest release of the week. The 2021 horror movie stars Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons set in a rural part of Oregon. Julia Meadows teaches middle school children, and one day, she asks them to tell the stories of myths they’ve heard.

When she hears Lucas Weaver’s story, she starts to fear that his dad and baby brother are sick. She soon finds out that there’s something much more serious going on.

If you’re looking for a horror-comedy, Black Friday is the movie to watch. Devon Sawa, Michael Jai White, and Bruce Campbell star as some of the employees in a toy store in the wake of Black Friday.

We know the real horrors, but what happens when there’s an alien parasite in the area? Can the employees protect each other and survive the busiest retail day of the year?
