The Wilds Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in January 2022

Our eyes are still on when some of our favorite Amazon shows will return. The wait continues for The Wilds Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video.

We double-checked the list of January releases on Amazon Prime Video just in case, but there is some bad news. The Wilds Season 2 is definitely not on there.

Part of us didn’t expect it. After all, if the show was arriving, surely Amazon Prime Video would have made a huge deal about it. We found out in December that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 would premiere in February 2022. Surely we’d know about a January release back in November for the bigger, most anticipated shows.

The Wilds Season 2 release date predictions

We do have a bit of good news. Filming on the season came to an end during 2021. That means the show is into the post-production work. That can take at least six months depending on the amount of visual effects needed.

TVLine gave us a small update on the release. The hint is not to expect it before spring 2022. That means we’re looking at around April 2022 at the earliest, but we could have to wait a little longer. This isn’t much to go on right now.

The problem this year is that there will be a lot of shows ready to air at the same time. Amazon Prime Video will want to space out all the content, and that means delaying some content even though it may be ready to air. It also makes it harder to predict when shows will be released.
