All the Amazon Originals coming to Prime Video in January 2022

Amazon Prime Video will see fewer Amazon Originals throughout January 2022 compared to recent months. There are still some great releases coming.

The first thing to note is that new episodes of The Expanse Season 6 will arrive in January 2022. There are two episodes left of this season, which is the final season of the series. The two episodes will arrive on Friday, Jan. 7 and Friday, Jan. 14.

There’s no real need to introduce the two episodes. We’ll look at them as we get closer to their releases.

4 Amazon Originals arriving on Amazon Prime Video in January 2022

There are four Amazon Originals arriving throughout the month. Three of them are movies, with one of them one of the most highly anticipated releases on Amazon in recent months. The fourth is a series that will be released as a binge-watch.

We’ll share them in release date order. It’s the only way to share the various genres.

The Tender Bar

The first release is a movie starring Ben Affleck, Christopher Lloyd, Lily Rabe, and Tye Sheridan. It follows J.R. Maguire, who has a dream of becoming a writer. At nine years old, he moves into a dilapidated house with his grandfather and mother, and all he wants is a father figure. He gets that through his Uncle Charlie, who introduces J.R. to the colorful world of the regulars at the bar he owns.

We follow J.R. throughout his young years as he becomes a young man. Can he fulfill his dreams with the right people in his corner?

The Tender Baris coming to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 7.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformia

The next release is one of the most hotly anticipated releases. We’ve been waiting since October 2021 for this movie. Hopefully, you didn’t get the kids too excited! The good news is the fourth Hotel Transylvania movie is definitely arriving this month.

The fourth movie sees the monsters become human and Johnny the human become a monster. It’s all thanks to a machine from Van Helsing. It’s going to be up to the entire group to work together to fix the machine and get everyone back to normal before they’re transformed forever.

As We See It Season 1

There is one TV series arriving on Amazon Prime Video in January. It’s all about As We See It.

The series follows three roommates who are just trying to navigate the world. They’re navigating it while on the austism spectrum, meaning they’re trying to navigate a world that isn’t even designed for them. They’ll find love, chase dreams, and figure out friendships along the way.

Watch the entire season on Friday, Jan. 21.

A Hero

The synopsis for this movie doesn’t seem to match the promo. In the synopsis, we learn that a man is on a two-day pass from prison and decides to turn to his creditors who made a complaint against him to withdraw it. Sure, that’s part of the promo, but there’s a bigger thing to focus on.

Our hero finds a bag of gold and turns it in. He suddenly becomes a man who people are proud of. That is until he’s outed as someone who has potentially lied in the past.
